• Our Mission - The concept for CanadianNorthernArt.com first began when we were contacted by some of our local northern Saskatchewan artists to assist them with a means of selling their artwork and handicrafts online.   Many were looking for a more affordable way to gain exposure online without having to learn how to maintain a website of their own.   Some had tried online auctions unsuccessfully, while others had attempted creating their own websites but were overwhelmed with the amount of time and learning involved for regular maintenance, search engine optimization and pricing for outsourcing.
  
  As an affordable alternative to creating an individual website for each artist that contacted us, we decided to provide a means for any and every artist to receive an equal opportunity and worldwide exposure through our Canadian Art Directory.  It is our goal to assist the local art community and the Canadian Art community as a whole by creating a level playing field for each and every artist, without prejudice to advertising budgets, language barriers, time constraints, technical knowledge or computer skills.




• Our Role  - We provide a means for artists to advertise their art and are not responsible for sales.  Each page will contain both contact and payment information.  You can then deal with the artist directly.
  
  In some instances when artists do not have access to a computer, have language barriers or other special circumstances; we will take queries and information on their behalf or pass along purchase requests.




• Art Sales - Artists found in our directory can be contacted directly.  Each artist is responsible for arranging their own shipping, pricing, payment and terms.




• Payments for Advertising - When purchasing an advertising package from CanadianNorthernArt.com the name that appears on your credit card statement will be DistributionCenter.




• Copyrights - All images are copyrighted and are not to be freely distributed.




• Privacy - We value our privacy and will respect yours.  Information you provide to us will be used only for the purpose that it was supplied. We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law.




• Legal - In no event shall CanadianNorthernArt.com, its subsidiaries, its members, its partners, its joint ventures or their employees be held liable for costs or procurement of goods or services, attorneys fees or any direct, indirect, incidental or any kind of damages whatsoever.
